Welcome to episode two, the first official episode with a guest!

On this episode, I sat down with one of the most talented and genuine humans in Music City, Lauren Duski.

Lauren, an artist and songwriter who gained national attention as a finalist on season 12 of The Voice, is a Michigan native and daughter of two dentists.

As long as they can remember, Lauren was singing to Disney movies before she was talking.

Lauren recently released her first EP - Midwestern Girl - with some of the most authentic and vulnerable songs.

She’s now working on her second EP and continues to grow into the artist she wants to be.

We sit and talk about the importance of bravery and vulnerability, her love of peanut butter and her path to become who she is today.

This conversation was a good one and an incredible first episode guest.

Lauren’s mic technique is definitely a little more polished than mine, but hey, we had a blast.
