If you’re just getting into sneakers or already a sneaker head, you probably have or want a place to check out the latest sneaker news and upcoming sneaker releases.

A few years back when I first started to research sneaks, there weren’t a lot of sites who kept release information up to date.

Now, there are so many resources, it can be overwhelming!

One of the harder things when sneaker shopping is knowing your correct size. Especially when shopping online which is 95% of my purchases.

I receive a good amount of texts asking how certain sneaker brands run sizing wise when it comes to the major brands like Nike and Adidas.

Also, these tips have been consistent for myself and multiple of my friends. That being said, I have a narrower foot with really high arches, so I can’t guarantee these sizing tips will fit you exactly!

I normally wear a 9 in most shoes.

So this past week our publishing company went to Vegas for the ACMs (Academy of Country Music Awards).

Of course, going out there I had a list of sneaker shops to stop by. But between happy hours, parties, networking, casinos, and the pool - I know, hard life - my days got a little hectic and I only made it to one!

However, I did stop by the top spot - Urban Necessities, one of the best sneaker consignment stores.

My second favorite place to purchase sneakers is an app and website called GOAT. First launched as an app, GOAT allowed people to shop for sneakers from the convenience of their couch scrolling through crisp photos on their phone.

Goat is simple to use and guarantees authentic sneakers. They offer new or used sneakers (more on this in a later post).

It’s pretty simple. A shopper creates an account inputing shoe size then they’re off to browse! Goat has almost every filter possible from size, price, brand, etc.

Just like StockX, GOAT is a resale site.

Shoppers can nab some great deals on this site. Sometime due to something as small as a missing lid the price will drop significantly.

A question I get asked a lot is “Where do you get your shoes?”

I personally prefer shopping brick and mortar, but sneaker shopping in Nashville can be limited.

One day, the dream would be to own my own sneaker shop, but until then, I’ll keep ordering and shopping online.

Now of course when I travel, sneaker stores are the first thing on my agenda, and if you know me, you know I’m not much of an agenda person.

I’ve tried my fair share of sneaker sites and everything I recommend in this post is my personal preference and what I have come to like with time.

It seemed only fair my second post revolved around my favorite pair of sneakers. One of the most common questions I get asked is “Which pair is your favorite?”

That question used to be hard to answer, but after the release of the newest Air Max 1 Atmos - it became pretty easy.

“Originally released over 10 years ago, this iconic collaboration with Japanese sneaker boutique atmos... As atmos designer Koji displays a zoo of animal prints on the upper - tiger, leopard, zebra and pony - to create looks that are undeniably wild and stand out.” (Nike Link below)

I remember my 7th birthday present like it was yesterday. I had begged for a new pair of tennis shoes, but the parents wouldn't budge.

A week before my 8th birthday, my mom sat me down in front of the computer. To be slightly dramatic, my life would never be the same.

Nike’s new NIKE iD program was pulled up on the computer screen. To an 8-year-old who loved tennis shoes this represented a magical place with endless abilities to design my own pair of court shoes.

I anxiously awaited the orange Nike box to arrive at our house. And arrive they did.
